Oh my gosh how great are these Brown Sugar Cinnamon Baked Apples. I have never had baked apples with oatmeal in them, so have to try this recipe and it sounds so good and easy to make. So much better then heating the oven just put them in the slow cooker and 2 to 3 hours later you'll have a great dessert. Serve with vanilla ice cream or heave cream pored over the top is how my family eats baked apples. I bet these will be great tasting just as is. This has got to be one of the simplest recipes that I have ever seen for apples. I love that you use them whole and make them instead of slicing them up like you see in many recipes. What makes it even better is that you use fresh apples instead of apple pie filling.
