Do you think that fine sugar would work just as good as the brand you chose? I guess if it is the smaller granule that makes the difference it would work ok. I can see making this to surprise my hubby one night. He loves to eat cheesecake and fruit desserts. He is not much on cakes and candies or cookies, but give him a nice fruit pie or cheesecake and he is in heaven. I want to see how well he likes this recipe.
