I did want to clarify for folks that the slow cooker is used for the broccoli and shrimp, but the pasta still needs to be boiled separately. Nonetheless, with only 3 steps it is still very easy to make. Perfect for when you are craving pasta but don't want a heavy meat or tomato sauce. A perfect summer meal!

I so love that the recipe gives me the breakdown of calories, fat, carbs and protein. I am on Weight Watchers and I need this information to accurately calculate my daily points! For my family, this dish will please everyone. We try to get more fish and seafood into our diet but it is not easy because our oven doesn't work very well at all. Now I can use my crock pot!

I'll take any excuse to use pesto in a recipe. This looks delicious!
