Can you use garlic powder instead of the fresh garlic? If so, how much should I use? I was wondering why you have several powder spices, but use fresh garlic. Would this dish be good with fresh ginger as well? I think this dish sounds so tasty, and I can't wait to make it for myself.

Hi SissieSass, yes you can use garlic powder instead. I'd go with 1/8 teaspoon for each clove of garlic. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
