Do you use wet or dry mustard in your dish? I cannot believe that Dr. Pepper can make a meat dish like this taste so good, but there is something about the use of pop in a meat dish that makes it so moist and tender when it is done. I used a recipe with Coca Cola years ago and I have been using pop in my recipes ever since.
