Slow Cooker Italian-Style Pulled Pork
This delicious Slow Cooker Italian-Style Pulled Pork recipe uses authentic flavors and spices. Ingredients
- 1 packet Prohibition Spice Family's Italian-Style Sausage Seasoning (spicy or mild)
- 4 pounds pork shoulder
- 28 ounces can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 white onion, sliced
- salt
- pepper
- garlic
- oregano
Instructions

Rinse pork shoulder and pat dry.

Pour Prohibition Spice seasoning packet into a bowl and mix well.

Sprinkle seasoning over the meat and massage it in. Make sure you get a nice even coating covering the entire cut of meat.

Pour can of tomatoes into slow cooker, and cover with a thin layer of salt, pepper, garlic and oregano.

Add the sliced onions and mix well.

Place pork in slow cooker, cover, set to LOW, and let it cook for 6-8 hours.

Remove shoulder from slow cooker, and shred with 2 forks. Return meat to slow cooker, stir well to mix with sauce.

Serve meat on your choice of bun. We recommend a little mozzarella cheese on top.

Where do you find the spice mix that you use in this dish? I have honestly ever heard of it. I think that your recipe sounds like it will taste amazing. It has such few ingredients that even my teens can throw this one together and not mess it up if I need them to get it cooking in the morning.
