What a great soup to serve on a cold night. Our weather has turned winter-like, so I am looking for soup and stew recipes. I love using my slow cooker because the preparation is done in the morning, then I can enjoy the soup at the end of the work day. I like to serve fresh bread or rolls with my soup.

Quick and easy soup. Perfect for fall and winter meals, very filling and nutritious. It smalls fantastic as it cooks, too. The chicken is tender while the broccoli holds its shape. I like extra onion in this, and I use white cheddar to maintain the creamy look. Sometimes I use cauliflower and broccoli both in a soup like this, and sometimes I add a grated carrot or two. Try this recipe!
