On a lazy Saturday at home, especially in the cooler months, I love to do a homemade slow cooker soup and bake a loaf of homemade bread! Since it is a cruciferous vegetable, cabbage is packed with vital nutrients, and even makes you feel full longer. Also, it has been found that people who start their meal out with a serving of hot soup are much less likely to overeat!
