At one time, I would have thought that cranberries and meat did not go together, but my mom eats cranberry sauce on her turkey. I never thought it would go well with beef though, but it sure does, doesn't it? I love how the flavor gets all through the meat as you are cooking it in the crock pot.

I make the fast version of this recipe and it is out of this world. Kids, parents and grandparents all love it and ask for more. Perfect appetizer or dinner served with rice. It is also a great pot luck kind of recipe that you can take anywhere. I recommend using chili sauce instead of bbq sauce. I am not sure why, but it makes it so much better. You can't go wrong with this recipe.
