My grandmother used to make cubed steak and gravy in the oven for Sunday dinners after church. It is such a good comfort food when served with some mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. I think I am going to omit the ground mustard because she never used that. She also made the gravy from the sauce left over with a little flour. I can see making this and starting my own family tradition. Thanks so much!

I made this as stated except I added about 6 ounces of sliced baby Bella mushrooms and a small green pepper sliced with the onions. I used a packet of gluten- fee brown gravy due to health issue. This was delicious!

I just clicked on the print button in the recipe & 1 page came up to print.

I do not like the idea you have to print 5 pages to get the recipe, that is a waste of paper, you should not have to print the comments. The recipes should be printer friendly like other cooking sites.

I was able to cut and paste this recipe to a word document with no problem. Easy to do and then I can file the word document in the appropriate folder.

Check your print options. When you click on "print", it may bring up a box. In that box it says "print preview" if you choose that, it will show you what is on each page. Look through the pages, choose the page (or 2) that have the actual recipe. Then when you go back to the print box, choose to print only the pages with the recipe. Hope this helps. Once you get on to it, it is lots easier than any other method.

I made this for dinner last night and it was a hit. There were no leftovers, and we all know that is the sign of a really good meal. I will have to make more next time, because i am sure it is good as leftovers. I served it with oven roasted potatoes and broccolli. Yum Yum.

to obtain a recipie from this site is too many steps on the computer to get to the recipies. They sound good, but I have yet to find an easy way to print them off and try them. (not good)

It is a pain in the butt. What I have to do is just leave my laptop on my kitchen table while I do the recipe. A lot of the recipes on here are really good.
