How much oregano powder should I use to get the equivalent of the dried oregano leaves? I like that you went with a five-pound roast. We have a large family, and I have to double many of the recipes I find online. Sometimes, they are too big to fit into one six-quart crock pot. Using five pounds of meat with the rest is about perfect for us.

Hi SissieSass, 1/4 teaspoon of ground oregano is the equivalent of 1 teaspoon of dried oregano leaves, so keep that proportion in mind. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
