Oh my, this sounds delicious! I can't wait to try it! Do you ever use a side like rice or pasta to serve the stew on when you make it? I think this is a versatile dish that you can make a few times and change it up so that it is different every time.

WOW! What an impressive dinner recipe for the entire family! We don't eat ground beef, but this might cause me to make an exception. I like my beef stew, but it gets old after a while. This uses ground beef and a can of tomato sauce instead of a beef stew meat and the beef stew seasoning packet which usually is a brown based sauce. This looks delicious and I am adding this to my shopping list for the week.

Love this! Proof that living on a budget doesn't mean you have to sacrifice on eating good food.

Since it uses the less expensive ground beef rather than stew meat or cut up roast, it really is one of the cheapest things to make for the amount of food that you get. I don't mind the ground beef - it still tastes great to me! I love how they took a picture of the grocery store receipt as proof on the blog! Too funny!

There are times when I see recipes like this that I wish I had found them when I was working! Just the thought of coming home to a meal already prepared was wonderful but there were only so many recipes that I had. Now that I am retired I am still going to give this a try as it gives me the warm fuzzies just thinking about it.
