What is hoisin sauce? I keep seeing it in recipes, but I have never used it and I have no clue what it is. Where do you find the Korean hot pepper paste? Is there any American ingredient that is similar to it? I love that you chose to go the spicy route with this recipe.

Hi SissieSass, hoisin sauce is kind of similar to a barbecue sauce and is commonly found in the Asian/International aisle. You should be able to find the hot pepper paste there too. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
