When I saw the title for this slow cooker dish, I thought it would be a spicy Mexican style chicken dish. But when I read the ingredients on the blog - garlic, ginger, and soy sauce, it seems like more of an Asian style sauce that the chicken is simmered in. It still sounds delicious, but I am curious where this recipe originates.
