Can I use some other vinegar besides the rice wine? I have balsamic and red wine vinegar, but I am out of the rice wine version. I really like that you added the ginger and molasses to this dish. I think it gives the recipe a more authentic flair. I am ready to try making this dish now.

I used the boneless skinless chicken thighs since I not only wanted it to be easier to eat, but also so I wouldn't have to separate the fat from the sauce afterwards. The from scratch teriyaki marinade is wonderful, and I might use it for other grilled meats as well. The broiling method at the end gets it nice and crispy!
