Do you ever cook the potatoes in the crock pot with the beef, or do you always make them on the side? I like that you included directions to use the potatoes or the bread. I think the bread makes a great option for lunches too. You can add a side salad and make a complete meal that gets the veggies in too.

The pictures of this recipe are making me very hungry! What a tasty idea, to make a plain old roast, more of an Italian meal. I like the idea to serve it over wide noodles. Next time I shop, I'm picking up the ingredients to make this!

This dish looks very pretty and colorful, with all the vegetables on the side. I would serve this with pasta for a weeknight meal, or on fancy, crusty bread with cheese as finger food at a party.#BestIdeaEver.
