Kickin' Teriyaki Chicken
Don't be deceived by the name. Kickin' Teriyaki Chicken packs in the flavor, not the spice. This slow cooker teriyaki chicken recipe falls outside of the typical slow cooker chicken box, but it will have you coming back again and again. Teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds give the dish some Asian undertones, while brown sugar sweetens the whole thing up a bit. Serve this easy teriyaki chicken recipe over a bed of brown or white rice, and finish it off with a drizzle of the leftover sauce in the slow cooker. This is a wonderful dish to serve for a casual dinner or to serve for a busy weeknight. You can prepare all of your ingredients the night before and have a fabulous dinner waiting for your in the slow cooker after a long day.

I am thinking that I would try to make this with those verrry inexpensive chicken thighs instead of chicken breast. I think it would add a lot more flavor! NOT that this dish is lacking in flavor- you've already got the brown sugar and the teriyaki, of course. Serving it over the brown rice will have this meal filling your tummy. Brown rice has a way of doing that.
