Can I leave out the curry powder in this recipe without taking too much away from it? I have never used the spice, and I am not sure what it would taste like, but I don't want to buy it just for one dish either. I think you have a lot of wonderful flavors in your recipe from the brown sugar to the ginger and red pepper flake.
