Slow Cooker Seafood Gumbo
If you like Cajun food, then this Slow Cooker Seafood Gumbo is a wonderful dish to try. This recipe does include some stove top cooking, but since it finishes in the slow cooker, much of the cook time is hands off. Crawfish, shrimp, and lump crab all star in this savory dish. This recipe would be great to make for a Mardi Gras party or just a lazy weekend at home. The okra and diced tomatoes add rich flavor without being overwhelming. Serve this Slow Cooker Seafood Gumbo over white rice for a perfect meal.

I expected to feel overwhelmed with this seafood gumbo recipe. After reading the fairly short list of ingredients, I think it may not be overwhelming after all! I do not know anything about crawfish or cooking it for that matter. This is a different dish idea for my family!
