Festive Homemade Slow Cooker Cranberry Sauce
Here is a wonderful recipe to use at Thanksgiving when each year you are trying to come up with new recipes to freshen your holiday meal. This easy recipe only requires four ingredients outside of the cranberries to give them life and flavor. You simply toss in orange juice, orange zest, honey, and two cinnamon sticks, and after some time to simmer, your cranberry sauce could not taste more incredible. This is a very easy recipe to complete during a busy holiday rush to finish your meal.

It seems like you always have to make cranberry sauce for holiday dinners, so why not take the time and make it fresh? I love your ingredient choices. My favorite part is that you use the zest of the orange to give this a nice, bright citrus taste. I think my mom will love for me to show up with this sauce this year.

This seems like a different kind of tasting cranberry sauce than I am used to. It's got cinnamon and honey in it. I'd like to find out for myself, just how delicious this can be. But it won't be until the next holiday. It was kind of annoying all the pop-up ads that I had to keep closing out just so I could get to the recipe hiding beneath it all.

I just finished making this and it hasn't even cooled yet, but this is the best cranberry sauce I have ever had in my entire life. I followed the recipe completely other than I added some mandarin orange bits into the sauce. You cannot go wrong with this recipe. It has just become a family tradition in our home.
