Outrageously Easy Corn on the Cob makes the perfect companion for any summer meal, and is great all year round. It's sweet, buttery, and delicious. Nothing could be easier than this recipe for slow cooker corn on the cob. All you have to do is husk the corn, slather it with butter, and let the corn cook in your slow cooker for a few hours. Serve your slow cooker corn recipe with grilled meats at your next barbecue or a summer potluck. This is a wonderful dish that goes with everything. But it is a superb dish to serve at a barbecue.

Can you make a large batch of these corn cobs at a time, or would I need to add more time to the timer? I often have large parties so about 14 or so would be an estimate. I guess I could try to do seven or eight in a couple of crock pots. That would space them out better, plus they won't all fit in one.

What the what? I can do this! It requires no cooking skills whatsoever! I would love to teach my son how to make this for himself to ready him for life on his own one day. He's 14. -) I too, think that messing with foil and wrapping each cobb is bothersome. Why do that when there's this recipe available? I won't tell you how it's done- you will have to read it for yourself!

I have never tried cooking corn on the cob in the crock pot before. I take the husk off the corn and put it into a pot of boiling water. When the water comes to a boil again, then I cook it for about 20 minutes. It is delicious with or without seasonings.

I never would've thought to make corn on the cob in a slow cooker before, but I love it!
