I need to make myself something to eat because looking at these pictures of food is making me hungry! This is so easy to make I can't believe I haven't tried it sooner. This is a great alternative to basic scalloped potatoes or even mashed. Everybody loves cheese and bacon!

I have to agree with Susan S. This is a very easy sounding dish. I can see putting this item alongside my salmon patties, pork loin, a piece of beef roast, and my meatloaf. It is a very versatile recipe. Thanks for posting! I want to go make this for dinner tomorrow now.

This has got to be the easiest recipe I've read in a long time for a dish that sounds so delicious. And I never knew that by using aluminum foil on the bottom it keeps the ingredients from sticking and helps them cook. Makes sense - just never thought to use foil in a crock pot. Can't wait to try these.
