Is it a stew? Is it a chili? It has the best of both worlds! This recipe is chock full of homestyle veggies while also packing a nice punch of zesty chili flavor. I didn't have any turnips, so I just threw in some diced red bell peppers and it was quite tasty. I especially like that you don't even have to soak the beans overnight first when cooking them in the slow cooker.
