What is your favorite barbecue sauce? Our is Sweet Baby Ray's Original. We love the taste and how sticky and gooey it can get when you cook it for hours in the crock pot. I love that you chose to add it to meatballs instead of a pork roast. You can make sliders with the roast, but the meatballs are ready to go with a few toothpicks on the side.

From the toddlers to the men, this is a favorite recipe for our family gatherings in winter and summer. They are so favored that a double batch has to be made. The tangy BBQ sauce and the sweet jelly flavor combine in perfect proportions to coat the moist meatballs. You can't go wrong with this recipe. It is so easy. We've had it at nearly every family gathering with buffet or cook-out type foods. The men will sometimes spoon the meat and juices onto sandwich rolls or Kaiser buns. They are enjoyed at holiday gatherings and parties. If there are leftovers which happen rarely they taste great the next day too.

This is a no fail recipe. It is absolutely wonderful to eat and to make. You can make it as a main dish served with rice (very kid friendly) or as an appetizer. You can also substitute a can of cranberry sauce for the grape jelly....and it is just as good, if not better!
