I have never used goat cheese before, so do you know if there is something else I can use to get the same result? I never thought jelly or preserves would make a good meatball sauce until I had a relative make some a few years back with grape jelly on the meatballs. I tried them and asked for the recipe to find out that it was grape jelly and ketchup. I was amazed! I never doubted the ingredients in a recipe after that day.

Hi SissieSass, I would recommend using cream cheese or maybe marscapone cheese if you're looking for a goat cheese substitute. I hope that helps! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes

These little orbs of meat look so delicious. The chef used a combination of beef and pork and that will make it a tender and juicy meatball.

I must admit, you had me a Blueberry BBQ. I had to go to the recipe just to see the other ingredients for this slow cooker recipe. This dish sounds very savory. Any suggestions on what to serve this with or is it meant to be an appetizer?
