Can I just leave out the fish sauce? I know it is probably an integral part of the flavor in this dish, but I can't stand using the sauce. I love the rest of the recipe. My favorite part is all the honey you use to give this sauce a thick and moist texture. Also, do you peel your ginger, or just use it smashed with the peel?
