I used to eat pepper steak with my brother and sister-in-law. She would cook it in strips on the stove with strips of bell pepper and onions. It was so delicious. A little olive oil and some steak seasoning and a side of rice was all we added. I think this sounds like a grown up version of that same dish. Do you ever add more peppers or use all four colors in this recipe?

I love pepper steak. I have never had it cooked in the crock pot before. I also have never had stewed tomatoes in my pepper steak before. How long would it cook if cooking on high instead of low? I will give it a try it sounds very delicious. Yum
