Bourbon Chicken Sandwiches with Crunchy Apple Slaw
These Bourbon Chicken Sandwiches with Crunchy Apple Slaw are a must-make for an upcoming summer barbecue! Packed with complex, sweet and savory flavors, this pulled chicken recipe will be an instant hit among your friends and family. Homemade barbecue sauce cooks the chicken to produce an easy-to-shred breast, and reducing the remaining sauce after cooking provides the perfect sandwich topping. Layer the pulled chicken and sauce on a bun with a crisp apple slaw recipe and melted Gouda cheese. Make sure to have extra napkins on hand as you inhale this sandwich in record time.

What a snag--two recipes for the click of one! I've got imaginings for both of these--together and separately. Several newbies for me using alcohol in the crockpot, using gouda cheese and making/eating apple slaw. This recipe says it's unique. I'd say it comes off as a one-of-a-kind! I really like the idea of a sandwich that includes meat, dairy, grain and veggies. That makes it a winner in my book!
