Do you use the juice from the jalapeno peppers or just the peppers themselves when you measure out the tablespoon? I love that you put a little spice to the mix and gave this recipe some zing. I think it will be a nice change to a lot of the meals we have on our menu. I can see using this recipe quite a few times this year.

This recipe is kind of like having a barbeque main dish and a baked bean side dish all rolled up into one! I'm not sure about that rice cake that is shown in the picture though - I might just stick with a regular hamburger bun or potato roll. It might be tasty poured over a bed of rice too.
