This is definitely a different kind of lunch than I am used to, but I think it will grow on me more and more. I always used the meat cold, right? I never though to heat it up like km cartoonity says below. Great idea. I love the jalapeno addition too.

I never thought to really cook something that I already bought precooked from the deli before, but the seasoned broth and added extra tenderness and juiciness in the pastrami makes all the difference! This is sure to become a new favorite for game day. And don't forget to pick up some spicy mustard and pickled jalapenos - I like mine spicy!
