When I came across the photo of this recipe while browsing the site, I thought that it was an Italian style wedding sort of soup, which I love. I was surprised that it turned out to be a variation of a minestrone soup - but a very elegant and delicious looking one! I am unsure why there are two different pastas used, but I am sure you could use one or the other if you wanted and just add the 2 measurements. I love the green vegetables with the mushrooms! Will try soon.
