How many people would you say this recipe will feed? I have three hungry teens, so I typically make enough food to feed eight at each meal, and then I freeze any leftovers or use them for lunch the next day. I like that you can use the tomatoes or just leave them out. I want to try it each way and try it using Rotel to see which one I like better.

This recipe looks delicious and simple. To me there is nothing like pot roast. I do not eat a lot of red meat but I refuse to give up pot roast. As the title suggests, this recipe brings back memories of Sunday dinners. Between my mother working and my father working two jobs, Sunday was the one day we could all get together. The neighborhood baseball game in the early afternoon and then a sit down Sunday dinner. It brings back pleasant memories and so will this dinner. And good homemade gravy to top it off. Thanks for the recipe.
