Oh my, I do believe I found a new dish to try for New Year's Eve. Do you have to use the salsa verde or can I just use regular salsa in this dish? I think my daughter will love this dish because she is crazy about recipes with pepper jack cheese. I can see us whipping up a batch of this on the nights we are binge watching T.V.

First off, this probably isn't the dish for you if you are watching your waist line, for two reasons It will be so good you won't be able to stop yourself from chowing down the entire crock. And the other reason is the fact that is uses good old fashioned pork sausage, real butter, and a mound of real cheese. YUMM!!

This dip recipe looks excellent! I'm not a big football fan and am sort of a video game nerd, so i plan to fix this the next time i have my friends over for adult video game night! If you want to make it a little lighter, you could substitute ground chicken or turkey for the pork sausage, but i wouldn't use a reduced fat cheese - that stuff doesn't seem to melt as nicely.
